Resisting an irresistible force wears you down and turns you out.
I know.
I’ve been doing it for years.
I may not have a musical gift of my own,
but I’ve got a nose for talent and an eye for the extraordinary.
And Marlon James – Grip to his fans – is nothing short of extraordinary.
Years ago, we strung together a few magical nights, but I keep those memories in a locked drawer and I’ve thrown away the key.
All that’s left is friendship and work.
He’s on the verge of unimaginable fame, all his dreams poised to come true.
I manage his career, but I can’t seem to manage my heart.
It’s wild, reckless, disobedient.
And it remembers all the things I want to forget

Flow and Grip completely blew me away. It’s been days since I finished this beautiful, beautiful story, and I haven’t been able to pick up a book and enjoy it. I’m still reeling in my seat at how beautifully written was this book! This lyrical prose is brutally honest, and everything was painted so vividly and real; it was inevitable I fell in love with it. Definitely a top read this year. I’m 100% sure Bristol and Grip’s story will stay in my brain and heart for a long time.

ARC Review | Flow (Flow #0.5) by Kennedy Ryan

I’ve been staring at my computer for more than thirty minutes trying to form the right words to say. Flow made me want to read Grip right away. This prequel introduces who Marlon “Grip” James and Bristol Gray are before the fame and success. The novella had me 100% invested in their […]

ARC Review | The Elizabeth Papers by Jenetta James

What a lovely novel! I don’t usually read Pride and Prejudice stories that take place after the canon, but the intrigue of the blurb called to me. I’m so happy I got the chance to read this book because it was amazing! I devoured the whole book and was engaged […]

I just knew from the moment I met Prince Henry in Royally Screwed that I’d fall for him. Hook, line, and sinker. God save the King!

Review | Wait For It by Mariana Zapata

“You don’t know what love was until someone was willing to give up what they loved the most for you.” Mariana Zapata does it again! Wait For It felt familiar yet entirely new and refreshing. This book had everything I loved in her books and more. So much more. It […]

Review | Managed (VIP #2) by Kristen Callihan

Sophie Darling is on a flight to London for a job interview, and it seems luck is going her way when she gets upgraded to first class. She also gets seated next to someone who could be on the cover of GQ.  Handsome, English, but standoffish, Gabriel Scott, the […]

Review: Nuts (Hudson Valley #1) by Alice Clayton

If you need a pick-me-up, read an Alice Clayton book. Seriously. This book turned me into a mushy, laughing, happy piece of mess. Who knew dairy could ruin a career? Roxie Callahan sure didn’t. She also didn’t expect she’d ever go back to her quaint hometown Bailey Falls after moving […]
